Jesse Lingard is looking forward to the festive schedule in the Premier League after Manchester United's win over West Brom

Jesse Lingard has taken to social media to reveal his delight at helping Manchester United make it three wins in a row in the Premier League before Christmas.

The Red Devils winger provided the cross for Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s opener at The Hawthorns as Jose Mourinho’s men secured a 2-0 win over The Baggies to keep their top-four bid on track.

Manchester United had come in for plenty of criticism for failing to produce consistent performances in the Premier League following the appointment of Mourinho as the club’s new manager back in May.

However, the Red Devils have now begun to show some improved form after notching up their third straight win in the top flight.

And Lingard was clearly thrilled to play his part in helping Manchester United claim three points on Saturday.

Lingard posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Great win the other day! Another 3 points #neverfollow #manchesterunited #adidas”
