Jesse Lingard: It is a joy to play with this Man United signing

Jesse Lingard becomes the latest Manchester United player to heap praise on Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Jesse Lingard has become the latest Manchester United player to heap praise on Zlatan Ibrahimovic following his stunning form for the Red Devils so far this season.

The Swedish striker has been in top form for the Red Devils since his arrival at the club on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.

Ibrahimovic has been a regular fixture in the Red Devils team this season and scored his 10th and 11th goals of the season in the Premier League as he fired United to a 2-0 win at West Brom on Saturday night.

And Lingard, who set up Ibrahimovic for his opening goal on Saturday, was full of praise for the 35-year-old striker after the win.

Speaking in an interview with Manchester United’s website, Lingard said: “He’s a natural goal-scorer.

“You could see that by how well he took his goals.

“He is great to play alongside because he makes such great runs and that makes him easy to link up with.”

Manchester United finished fifth and won the FA Cup last season under Louis van Gaal. The Red Devils opted to sack the Dutchman and replace him with Mourinho in the summer.
