John Terry has taken to social media to salute Diego Costa after the striker fired Chelsea to a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace n Saturday.

Costa continued his fine recent form in the Premier League for the west London side when he headed in Cesar Azpilicueta’s cross in the first half at Selhurst Park.

Chelsea’s win was their 11th in a row in the Premier League and has helped to firmly establish themselves as the favourites to win the titles.

Terry has had his first team opportunities somewhat restricted this season but the Blues skipper is clearly still keen to cheer his team-mates on from the sidelines.

The veteran defender posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Another great win yesterday from the boys @chelseafc

“Great ball from @cesarazpi and another top finish from @diego.costa ⚽️”

Chelsea return to Premier League action on Boxing Day when they host Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are flying high at the top of the Premier League table following the disappointment of their 10th-placed finish last season.
