John Terry: This is what sweaty Antonio Conte is like in the Chelsea dressing room
The Chelsea skipper gives fans an idea of what Antonio Conte is like behind the scenes
John Terry has given Chelsea supporters a fascinating glimpse into what Antonio Conte is like in the dressing room after their Premier League games.
The Italian coach took over the reins at the west London club earlier this year after Chelsea slumped to a disappointing tenth-place finish in the Premier League.
Conte has already secured many admirers for his passionate style of management after guiding Juventus to three Serie A titles during his Turin career.
And the former Italy international is on course to win the Premier League in his first season in charge at the west London club following a run of 11 straight top-flight victories.
Speaking to Soccer AM ahead of Chelsea’s home clash against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day, Terry gave Blues supporters a teasing glimpse into life playing under Conte.
“He’s a really nice guy. He is absolutely sweating after the games. His shirt and suit comes off. He has a towel around him in the dressing room to cool down. The animation!” Terry said.
Chelsea are six points clear of their closest rivals Liverpool in the Premier League title race after 11 consecutive victories in the English top flight.
