Jurgen Klopp issues ‘intense’ warning to Liverpool players ahead of Bournemouth clash
The Liverpool manager is wary of Eddie Howe's 'intense' Bournemouth side
Jurgen Klopp has warned Liverpool to expect an intense performance from Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds will make the long trip to the south coast of England as the title contenders look to record back-to-back Premier League victories.
Liverpool were 2-0 winners against Sunderland in the Premier League last weekend thanks to goals from Divock Origi and James Milner in the second half.
The Merseyside outfit haven’t lost a Premier League game since a 2-0 defeat by Burnley in their second game of the 2016-17 season at Turf Moor.
And Klopp isn’t underestimating Bournemouth ahead of Liverpool’s clash against Eddie Howe’s side in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
“We go now to Bournemouth – small stadium, but very intense, good team. We are in a good moment until now, but we have to carry on and that’s how it is. We feel good in the moment and we have to carry on. Hopefully it stays like this,” Klopp told Liverpool’s website.
Liverpool are in second place in the Premier League table and a point adrift of leaders Chelsea after 13 games.
The Merseyside outfit are unbeaten in their last 11 Premier League games.
Liverpool have already beaten title rivals Arsenal and Chelsea on the road in the Premier League this season.
