Liverpool legend Dietmar Hamann trolls Everton on Twitter
The former Liverpool midfielder makes claim about Everton after Ben Woodburn's record-breaking goal
Dietmar Hamann managed to troll Everton after Ben Woodburn became Liverpool’s youngest-ever goal-scorer at Anfield on Tuesday night.
The 17-year-old Welsh striker was a second-half substitute in Liverpool’s League Cup quarter-final against Championship side Leeds United.
Divock Origi broke the deadlock in the second half with a close-range finish before Woodburn broke Michael Owen’s record with a powerful strike to seal the 18-time English champions’ place in the last four.
When one unofficial Liverpool account tweeted that Woodburn wasn’t even born the last time their Merseyside rivals won a trophy, Hamann couldn’t resist making a cheeky claim about Everton.

Liverpool are in second place in the Premier League table and a point behind leaders Chelsea after 13 games.
The Reds will make the trip to Southampton in their EFL Cup semi-final at St Mary’s on 10 January with a place at Wembley up for grabs.
Liverpool haven’t lost a game in all competitions since a 2-0 defeat by Burnley at Turf Moor in their second Premier League game of the 2016-17 season.
