Martin Keown states prediction for Man City v Arsenal

The Arsenal legend is backing Arsene Wenger's side to ease to a 2-2 draw at Manchester City on Sunday afternoon

Martin Keown is backing Arsenal to secure a point at title rivals Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners endured a difficult 90 minutes at Goodison Park on Tuesday night after Arsene Wenger’s side saw their 14-game unbeaten run come to an abrupt end following Ashley Williams’ late winner.

Alexis Sanchez broke the deadlock in the first half thanks to his deflected free-kick but Republic of Ireland defender Seamus Coleman levelled the Premier League clash before half-time.

Ronald Koeman’s summer signing Williams popped up with a late winner to seal three points for the Toffees and become the first team to beat Arsenal since their Merseyside rivals Liverpool in August.

Manchester City, meanwhile, were comfortable 2-0 winners against London side Watford thanks to goals from Nolito and David Silva at The Etihad.

Former Arsenal defender Keown is backing the Gunners to secure a 2-2 draw with Manchester City at Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

“I’m going for a 2-2 draw,” Keown told The Daily Mail.
