Man United hand another trial to 17-year-old striker – report
Manchester United look to be considering a bid for Livingston striker Matthew Knox, say reports
Manchester United have handed a third trial to Livingston striker Matthew Knox, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is claiming that the Red Devils have invited the 17-year-old forward back to Carrington for a third trial next week as Manchester United ponder a move for the forward.
The same report states that the youngster has been attracting interest from Liverpool, Tottenham and Everton in the Premier League, and that Rangers had a bid turned down for the striker in the summer transfer window.
The article goes on to state that Manchester United are lining up a £150,000 bid for the forward when the transfer window opens next month if he impresses during his next spell at Carrington.
Knox signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with Livingston earlier this month but it appears that a move to Old Trafford could still be on the cards.
Manchester United were one of the busiest clubs in the summer transfer window as they brought in Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Paul Pogba, Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic following Jose Mourinho’s appointment back in May.
