Martin Keown predicts the scoreline of Man United v Tottenham

Martin Keown looks ahead to Manchester United's clash with Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday

Martin Keown is tipping Manchester United to be held to a 2-2 draw by Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils head into the game looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League after the disappointment of their 1-1 draw with Everton last weekend.

Indeed, Jose Mourinho’s men have only won two of their last 11 games in the top flight to leave them 13 points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea.

Tottenham head into the game fresh from their 5-0 thrashing of Swansea City at White Hart Lane last weekend.

And former Arsenal defender Keown is expecting the two teams to share the spoils at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

Writing in his column for The Daily Mail, Keown said: “This is a very tricky game for Jose Mourinho.

“If Manchester United were to lose this one, fourth place becomes very difficult for them to achieve.

“For Tottenham, it is the third tough away game in the last few weeks having travelled to the Emirates and Stamford Bridge. If they can get a result at Old Trafford, it leaves them a great position as all these teams have to play them at White Hart Lane later in the season.

“I think it will be a 2-2 draw.”

Manchester United finished fifth and won the FA Cup last season under Louis van Gaal.
