The Manchester United record signing clarifies comments about Juventus
Paul Pogba has played down his controversial comments about Juventus.
The Manchester United midfielder risked the wrath of the Juventus supporters after he spoke about his four-year spell in Turin during a question and answer session on Facebook.
Discussing his spell at the Serie A champions, Pogba was reported to have said:
“It’s like I went on holiday and just came back. Seriously. Nothing really changed. I’m the same person.”
Pogba completed a world-record £89m move to Arsenal from Serie A champions Juventus in the summer transfer window following Jose Mourinho’s appointment in May.
The France international won four successive Serie A crowns during his decorated spell in Turin after Pogba moved to Juve in an £800,000 deal from United under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Naturally, Pogba was eager to clarify his comments surrounding his spell in Juventus last week, highlighting his affection for the Serie A champions.
Pogba has scored two goals in the Premier League since his world-record move to Manchester United from Juventus.
The French star has netted against Leicester City and Swansea City in 13 appearances in the English top flight.
