Ian Wright states prediction for Man United v Tottenham

The former Arsenal striker is backing Tottenham Hotspur to beat Manchester United

Ian Wright is tipping Tottenham Hotspur to sneak a Premier League victory at Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.

The Lilywhites were 5-0 winners against Swansea City at White Hart Lane in the Premier League to secure a much-needed three points in their pursuit of a top-four finish.

Manchester United, on the other hand, have drawn their last three Premier League fixtures following 1-1 stalemates with title rivals Arsenal, Everton and West Ham United.

Jose Mourinho’s side are six points behind fifth-placed Tottenham in the Premier League table after managing to record just two victories in their last 11 top-flight games.

Former Arsenal striker Wright is backing Spurs to spring a surprise against the Red Devils this weekend.

“I’m going to sneak towards Tottenham. It’ll be a massive win for them,” Wright told The Sun Goals podcast.

Tottenham finished in third place in the Premier League table behind champions Leicester City and Arsenal.

The Red Devils ended up in fifth place in the top-flight table under Louis van Gaal last term.
