Michael Owen predicts where Liverpool and Arsenal will finish this season

Michael Owen is tipping Liverpool to win the title this season and Arsenal to finish fourth

Michael Owen is tipping Liverpool to beat Chelsea to the Premier League title this season.

Chelsea currently lead the way at the top of the Premier League table and are six points ahead of second-placed Liverpool heading into the hectic festive fixtures in the top flight.

The Blues are the firm favourites to lift the top flight trophy in May after winning their last 11 games in the Premier League.

However, Liverpool have been in good form too in recent weeks and have been keeping pace with the Blues as the title race begins to take shape.

Former Liverpool striker Owen is tipping the Reds to catch Antonio Conte’s men and win the title, and is also expecting to see Arsenal finish fourth in the table.

Speaking to Sportlobster, Owen said: “I think a north west team will win the Premier League this season so that’s Manchester United, Liverpool or Manchester City.

“I’m going to go for Liverpool to win the league.

“They are playing really well and have no European football.

“Second, I’m going to go for Chelsea, third Man City and fourth Arsenal.”
