Owen Hargreaves makes prediction about Man United ahead of West Brom trip

Owen Hargreaves is expecting good things from Manchester United in the coming weeks and months

Owen Hargreaves believes that it will not be long before Manchester United click into gear under Jose Mourinho.

The Red Devils have made a stuttering start to life under their new manager but made it back to back wins in the Premier League when they beat Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park on Wednesday night.

United had come in for criticism for failing to turn their good performances into wins following Mourinho’s appointment at Old Trafford in the summer.

However, United now look like they may be able to produce some consistent form as the hectic festive period in the Premier League looms large.

And former Manchester United midfielder Hargreaves is backing the Red Devils to turn their form around in the coming weeks, purely because of the amount of quality in the squad.

Speaking to BT Sport on Wednesday night, Hargreaves said: “I think they are going to start hitting top form.

“I think he’s found the balance of his team. It took a while for him to find out what his best 11 is.

“I believe in this group of players. There are some terrific players in this team, difference-makers. Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a free has been exceptional.”
