Owen Hargreaves reacts to Paul Pogba’s Man United display

Owen Hargreaves was full of praise for Paul Pogba after Manchester United's 2-1 win over Crystal Palace

Owen Hargreaves lavished praise on Paul Pogba following the French midfielder’s sparkling display in Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.

The French midfielder scored one and set up the other as Jose Mourinho’s men made it back to back wins in the Premier League at Selhurst Park.

Pogba has begun to show glimpses of why Manchester United were willing to part with a world-record transfer fee to bring him to Old Trafford with his performances in recent games.

And former Manchester United midfielder Hargreaves was utterly delighted with what he saw from Pogba during the Red Devils’ win in London on Wednesday night.

Speaking to BT Sport after Wednesday’s game, Hargreaves said: “Paul Pogba today was absolutely magnificent.

“Pogba playing in the right position is just untouchable. He had 23 more touches than any other United player in the game.

“He absolutely bossed it all game. He was terrific.”

Manchester United finished fifth and won the FA Cup under Louis van Gaal last season.
