Paul Merson ponders how Jurgen Klopp will cope without Liverpool signing
The former Arsenal midfielder believes Liverpool could struggle without Senegal star Sadio Mane
Paul Merson has questioned whether Liverpool’s goals will dry up when Sadio Mane heads to the Africa Cup of Nations next month.

Mane scored an added-time winner at Goodison Park on Monday night after Liverpool notched up a 1-0 victory over Everton in the Merseyside derby.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has scored eight times and has made four assists in 16 Premier League appearances.
Former Arsenal midfielder suggested that Liverpool could struggle without Mane if Philippe Coutinho remains sidelined with an ankle injury.
“Losing Sadio Mane to the Africa Cup of Nations will hurt them too, especially with Philippe Coutinho injured. Will the goals dry up?” Merson told The Daily Star.
Liverpool are in second place in the Premier League table and six points adrift of leaders Chelsea.
The 18-time English champions finished in eighth place in the Premier League table last term after Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers back in October 2015.
Liverpool signed seven players in the summer transfer window.
