Paul Pogba reacts to Man United’s 2-1 comeback win over Middlesbrough

Paul Pogba has his say after Manchester United come from a goal down to beat Middlesbrough at Old Trafford

Paul Pogba has revealed his delight at scoring the winner as Manchester United came from a goal down to earn a dramatic 2-1 win over Middlesbrough at Old Trafford.

After a goalless first half at Old Trafford, the visitors took the lead in the 66th minute when Grant Leadbitter drilled home a low finish.

Manchester United pressed for an equaliser but struggled to break down the visitors’ stubborn rearguard.

However, Anthony Martial finally made the breakthrough in the 85th minute to draw Jose Mourinho’s men level.

And Pogba then netted the dramatic winner just moments later when he headed home to send Old Trafford wild.

The France international was clearly delighted to play his part as Manchester United made it five wins on the spin in the Premier League.

Pogba told BBC Sport: “It’s beautiful – it’s why we love football. The win as very important.

“We had a lot of chances and we could have won the game easier, but we are very happy with the three points.”
