Paul Pogba: Why I left Juventus to rejoin Man United

Paul Pogba reveals that having Manchester United in his heart was the main reason why he opted to return to Old Trafford

Paul Pogba has revealed that having Manchester United in his “heart” was one of the main reasons why he opted to re-join the club from Juventus in the summer transfer window.

The midfielder opted to move back to the Premier League club in the summer after months of speculation linking him with a return to Old Trafford.

United ended up having to part with a world-record transfer fee to secure the deal for a play who had been deemed surplus to requirements at the club by then manager Sir Alex Ferguson four years ago.

Most Manchester United fans would probably agree that Pogba is yet to hit top form for the Red Devils following his switch back from Juventus in the summer.

However, the player himself has now lifted the lid on what helped to convince him that a move to Old Trafford was the right decision.

Pogba is quoted as saying by The Daily Express: “I have United in my heart.

“It’s my house. When I left I always knew that I would come back.

“For me, it’s just normal. It’s like I went on holiday and just came back. Seriously. Nothing really changed. I’m the same person.”
