Pedro reacts to Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Bournemouth on Twitter
The Chelsea winger scored the home side's first goal in a 3-0 win against Bournemouth on Boxing Day
Pedro Rodriguez dedicated Chelsea’s 3-0 win against Bournemouth to the club’s supporters as Antonio Conte’s side extended their winning run to 12 games on Boxing Day.
The Blues welcomed Eddie Howe’s Cherries side as the west London outfit looked to extend their lead to nine points over second-placed Liverpool ahead of the Merseyside outfit’s clash against Stoke City at Anfield on Tuesday evening.
Pedro broke the deadlock with a superb opener after the Spain international curled a finish past Bournemouth goalkeeper Artur Boruc in the first half at Stamford Bridge despite a confident start from the visitors.
Eden Hazard doubled Chelsea’s advantage early in the second half after the Belgian forward scored from the penalty spot following a foul on the 2016 PFA player of the year.
And Pedro polished off a comfortable home win with a deflected strike to net his second goal of the game and maintain their 100 per cent record since a 3-0 loss at Arsenal in September.
The former Barcelona man took to Twitter to celebrate Chelsea’s win.
