Pedro reveals the secret to Chelsea’s brilliant form this season

Pedro talks up Chelsea's impressive team spirit under new boss Antonio Conte this season

Pedro Rodriguez believes that Chelsea’s fighting spirit and togetherness are the two main reasons behind the Blues’ brilliant form this season.

The west London club continued their superb form in the top flight on Boxing Day as they beat Bournemouth 3-0 at Stamford Bridge to make it 12 wins in a row in the Premier League.

Chelsea have now established themselves as the firm favourites to win the Premier League title this season after their impressive displays under new boss Antonio Conte in recent weeks.

The Blues’ sharp upturn in form has been in stark contrast to their struggles last season, when they ended up in 10th place in the table and without a trophy.

And Spain international Pedro feels that Chelsea’s team spirit has been the key to their impressive upturn in form in recent weeks.

Speaking to Chelsea’s website, Pedro said: “It was a good performance [against Bournemouth], all the players are high on confidence and that’s very good for the team.

“The attackers played very well and that’s the most important thing, the team were fighting for each other on the pitch and that’s the right way.”
