Ander Herrera has praised his Manchester United team-mates for extending their winning run to four games after Saturday’s 3-1 win against Sunderland.

The Red Devils broke the deadlock in the first half thanks to Daley Blind’s precise finish to edge Mourinho’s men into an early lead.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic continued his goal-scoring run on Boxing Day thanks to the 35-year-old centre-forward’s 11th goal in 10 games in all competitions to take his tally to 12 goals in the 2016-17 Premier League season.

Manchester United attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored a wonder goal in the closing moments of the Premier League clash thanks to the playmaker’s deft finish despite being seemingly in an offside position.

Herrera has established an encouraging midfield partnership with Paul Pogba and Michael Carrick in recent weeks to help Manchester United rack up four successive top-flight victories.

The Spain international posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“It has been a good Boxing Day,very happy for the win and keep the run 😊🔴 @manchesterunited”

Manchester United are in sixth place in the Premier League table.
