Antonio Valencia takes to social media ahead of Manchester United's Boxing Day clash against Sunderland

Antonio Valencia has taken to social media to post a cryptic update to his followers ahead of Manchester United’s Boxing Day clash against Sunderland.

The Ecuador international has been a regular fixture in the Manchester United first team this season since Jose Mourinho’s appointment as the club’s new manager back in May.

The 31-year-old has made 14 Premier League starts for the Red Devils so far this season and has been a reliable member of the Manchester United first team so far this term.

Valencia is yet to score a goal or notch up an assist in the Premier League but will be expecting to start for Manchester United when the Red Devils host Sunderland on Boxing Day.

And the 31-year-old winger looked to be in good spirits as he posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Monday night and wrote the caption: “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”
