Cesc Fabregas caught up with Michael Ballack after Chelsea's 3-1 win over Manchester City
Cesc Fabregas took to social media to share a picture of himself catching up with Michael Ballack after Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday.
Fabregas was restored to the starting line-up on Saturday due to Nemanja Matic’s absence and the Spaniard repaid Antonio Conte’s faith by setting up Chelsea’s equaliser for Diego Costa.
The 29-year-old has seen his first team opportunities severely restricted this season under Conte but was in good form as goals from Willian and Eden Hazard wrapped up an impressive comeback win for the Blues at The Etihad.
And Fabregas caught up with former Chelsea midfielder Ballack after the game.
The former Arsenal captain posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Nice to see you last night man @michaelballackofficial 👊🏻😉”

Chelsea have been in fine form in the Premier League this season and have now won their last eight games on the spin in the top flight.
The west London side are top of the table after 14 games of the new campaign.
