John Terry has congratulated Eden Hazard and Pedro Rodriguez on their goals in Chelsea’s 3-0 win against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day.

Pedro broke the deadlock in a first half with a clinical finish despite the Cherries controlling possession in the opening 20 minutes or so.

Belgium international Eden Hazard extended the home side’s lead from the penalty spot after the former Lille man was brought down inside the area.

And Pedro secured three points with a deflected strike in added time as Chelsea recorded their 12th successive Premier League victory.

Chelsea captain Terry took to his Instagram page to heap praise on the west London side’s goal-scorers following their Boxing Day win.

Terry wrote: “Another superb win and another clean sheet from everyone today.

“Congratulations @_pedro17_ on your ⚽️⚽️ you were on fire today mate👍

“Well done @hazardeden_10 ⚽️ and all the team for another great day.

“Two very important saves from @thibautcourtois 👌

“Fans were different class again, thanks for all the support.”

Chelsea are sitting at the top of the Premier League table after 18 games so far.

The west London outfit haven’t lost a game since a 3-0 loss to title rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in September.

Chelsea finished in tenth place last term.
