N’Golo Kante has spoken of his pride in the Chelsea players after Antonio Conte’s side were 3-0 winners against Bournemouth in the summer signing’s absence at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day.

The France international was forced to sit out the Premier League clash alongside Diego Costa as the Chelsea pair served a one-game ban for the visit of Eddie Howe’s Cherries side.

The Blues edged into a first-half lead courtesy of Pedro Rodriguez’s clinical finish at Stamford Bridge to edge Conte’s men a step closer to a 12th successive Premier League win.

Eden Hazard won a second-half penalty after he was caught in the area before the Belgium international stepped up and converted his spot-kick in west London.

Spanish winger Pedro made it three in added time after the midfielder’s strike was deflected past Bournemouth goalkeeper Artur Boruc to seal a 3-0 win.

Kante took to Instagram to post the above photo and he wrote the following caption after Chelsea’s 1-0 win:

“Proud of my teammates for this new victory! Fiers de mes equipiers pour cette nouvelle victoire! @chelseafc”
