Chelsea's players paid a visit to the Chelsea and Westminster in the lead-up to Christmas this week

Eden Hazard lined up for a picture with some of his Chelsea team-mates, including summer signing Michy Batshuayi, as the Blues squad paid a visit to the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on Wednesday.

The Belgian playmaker snuck into the back of a photo with a handful of Chelsea’s first-team players as the west London side made a visit to the hospital in the name of charity in the build-up to Christmas.

Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois posted the two photos above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Visiting the @chelwestft hospital and kids party at the bridge today! #cfc”

Also pictured with Courtois were the likes of Kurt Zouma, Batshuayi and Nemanja Matic.

Chelsea players will now gradually start to turn their attentions towards their Boxing Day clash against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.

It remains to be seen whether Batshuayi will be handed his first Premier League start of the season next week in the absence of the suspended Diego Costa.

Antonio Conte’s men have been in fine form in recent weeks and head into their clash against the Cherries after having won their last 11 games in the Premier League.

The Blues are currently six points clear at the top of the Premier League table heading into Christmas.
