Eric Bailly has taken to social media to reveal his delight at returning to action for Manchester United in Thursday night’s Europa League win against Zorya.

Bailly has been sidelined with a knee injury in recent weeks but was restored to the starting line-up for the Red Devils’ 2-0 victory in Ukraine last week.

The 22-year-old Ivory Coast international had earned plenty of praise for the way he quickly adapted to life in the Premier League following his transfer to Manchester United from Villarreal in the summer.

And the defender was clearly delighted to get some minutes under his belt ahead of Manchester United’s crunch Premier League showdown with Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford this weekend.

Bailly posted the photo above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Very happy to be back with my team and to have won in the Europa League. 🔴

“Thank you for all of your prayers.”

Manchester United are looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League after the disappointment of their 1-1 draw with Everton last weekend.
