Jose Enrique meets up with his former Liverpool team-mates Philippe Coutinho and Alberto Moreno

Philippe Coutinho and Alberto Moreno caught up with former Liverpool defender Jose Enrique for dinner over Christmas ahead of the visit of Stoke City on Tuesday.

Liverpool were 1-0 winners against Everton at Goodison Park in their final Premier League fixture ahead of Christmas Day after Sadio Mane scored in the fourth minute of added time.

The Reds have managed to remain in the title race despite the absence of Coutinho through injury after the Brazil sustained an ankle problem during a 2-0 loss to Sunderland.

However, the Brazilian appeared to be in high spirits as he caught up with former Liverpool defender Enrique along with his team-mates Lucas Leiva and Moreno.

Enrique, who left the Anfield outfit in the summer transfer window, posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“Very nice to see some our friends from liverpool. Thanks for coming feos!”

Liverpool will host Stoke City in the Premier League at Anfield on Tuesday evening.

The Reds will be hoping to close the gap on Chelsea to six points.
