Granit Xhaka’s brother and fiancee joined his parents in the stands at The Emirates as the defensive midfielder helped Arsenal ease to a 1-0 win against West Bromwich Albion on Boxing Day.

The Switzerland international started in midfield alongside Francis Coquelin as Arsene Wenger’s side looked to end a two-game losing run in the Premier League that has left the north London outfit’s title bid in tatters.

The Gunners struggled to break down a resilient West Brom side – though, and the hosts didn’t make the breakthrough until the 86th minute when Olivier Giroud got on the end of Mesut Ozil’s cross to score the winner.

And Xhaka’s family appeared to be enjoying themselves despite a tense affair at The Emirates as his fiancee Leonita snapped the above Instagram selfie with his brother Taulant and his parents.

Xhaka has played his younger brother twice in the Champions League this season, with Arsenal beating Swiss side Basel both home and away in the group stage.
