Henrikh Mkhitaryan was feeling in a positive mood after Manchester United’s 4-1 win over West Ham on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils booked their place in the League Cup semi-finals thanks to an emphatic victory over Slaven Bilic’s side despite their 1-1 stalemate with the east London side in the Premier League on Sunday.
Mkhitaryan started just his third game in a Manchester United shirt after the Armenia international moved to Old Trafford in a £30m deal from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window.
The attacking midfielder teed up Zlatan Ibrahimovic for his second-minute opener before the former Dortmund star created Anthony Martial’s 48th-minute strike at Old Trafford.
Mkhitaryan was named the club’s man of the match for the second time in a week after he picked up the award for his performance in their 4-0 victory over Feyenoord in the Europa League.
And the Manchester United summer signing was unsurprisingly in a positive mood on Instagram following his eye-catching performance.
Mkhitaryan posted the above photo and wrote the following caption: “#postivevibes #EFLCup semi-finals calling 👊🏼 Thank u #mufc fans🙏”
