Henrikh Mkhitaryan could not hide his delight about opening his Manchester United account on Thursday night
Henrikh Mkhitaryan took to social media to reveal his delight at scoring his first goal for Manchester United in Thursday night’s 2-0 Europa League win against Zorya.
The Armenia international set Manchester United on their way to victory in Ukraine when he found the net three minutes after half-time.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic then made the Red Devils’ progress into the last 32 of the competition secure when he added a second two minutes from time.
It has been a difficult start to life for Mkhitaryan at Old Trafford following his summer transfer from Borussia Dortmund.
But the playmaker seems to be finding his feet at the club and produced another fine display on Thursday night.
Mkhitaryan posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “3 points ✅ 1st goal for #manchesterunited ✅ Knockout rounds here we come! #UEL 🔥🔥🔥”

The playmaker will be hoping to feature once again when Manchester United take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon at Old Trafford.
