John Terry took to social media to single out Cesc Fabregas for special praise after Chelsea extended their winning run with a 1-0 victory over West Brom at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Fabregas was relegated to the bench for the start of the game but came on in the second half and was credited with the assist for Diego Costa’s winning goal.

The Spanish midfielder earned plenty of praise when he set up Costa for Chelsea’s first goal in their 3-1 win over Manchester City last weekend.

And Chelsea captain Terry had a special message for Fabregas after the Blues’ victory over the Baggies.

Terry shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Tough game today against a very well organised West Brom team.

“Unbelievable goal from @diego.costa ⚽️ And the desire and work rate he showed all game was superb and fully deserved his Man Of The Match.

“Well done every one and another clean sheet 👌 @cescf4bregas 💪🏻 looking good mate
@chelseafc”

Chelsea’s win over West Brom moved them back to the top of the Premier League table and three points ahead of second-placed Arsenal.
