The Chelsea defender is getting to grips with the rigours of first-team training after his long injury spell
Kurt Zouma appears to be coming to terms with the demands of first-team training under new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte.
The France international has played a Premier League minute in the 2016-17 season after his long rehabilitation from a knee injury.
Zouma suffered a serious knee problem during Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United in February which brought to an end his season.
The Blues signed David Luiz in a £32m deal in the summer transfer window to provide great competition at centre-half.
Club captain John Terry has struggled to get into Conte’s starting XI in recent months after Cesar Azpilicueta, Gary Cahill and Luiz formed an impressive back three.
Zouma has been rebuilding his fitness with Chelsea’s Under-21 side in recent weeks ahead of his return to the first team.
And the France centre-half revealed via his Instagram story that he is feeling tired after one of Conte’s demanding training sessions.
The Blues are six points clear of closest rivals Liverpool at the top of the table.
