Memphis Depay caught up with Anthony Joshua ahead of his victory over Eric Molina on Saturday

Memphis Depay chatted with Anthony Joshua before his victory over Eric Molina on Saturday night.

The Netherlands international has struggled to hold down a spot in the Manchester United team this season following Jose Mourinho’s appointment as the club’s new manager back in May.

Indeed, Depay is yet to start a game in the Premier League for the Red Devils and has only featured for a total of 20 minutes in the top flight so far this term.

His lack of first-team football at Old Trafford has inevitably sparked suggestions that he could leave Manchester United in the imminent transfer window.

But despite his lack of playing time on the pitch, Depay seems to be keeping himself in high spirits and was clearly pleased to catch up with Joshua ahead of Saturday’s bout in Manchester.

Depay posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “A little chat before yesterday’s victory. Congratulations champ!👊🏾 #AJ #UnderAmour #IWill #Dreamchasers #theywilltalk”
