Morgan Schneiderlin touches back down in Manchester ahead of Saturday's clash with Middlesbrough

Morgan Schneiderlin took to social media to reveal that he was back in Manchester on Wednesday night after spending Christmas away from Old Trafford.

The French midfielder’s future is likely to be a source of speculation as the January transfer window approaches due to his lack of game-time with the Red Devils this term.

Indeed, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho confirmed last week that the midfielder had asked to leave Old Trafford and that the Portuguese coach would not stand in his way if the right offer came along.

However, Schneiderlin looked pleased to be touching back down in Manchester as he prepared to report to Carrington ahead of the Red Devils’ clash with Middlesbrough on New Year’s Eve.

Schneiderlin posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Wednesday and wrote the caption: “Back in town !”
