Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard looked pleased to be spreading some Christmas cheer as the duo visited the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital this week.

The Manchester United attackers were joined by a host of their Red Devils team-mates as they arrived at the hospital to spread some cheer and hand out gifts to some of the young patients.

Jose Mourinho’s men took some time away from training as they looked to raise the spirits of some youngsters and their families.

Rashford posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Enjoyed putting smiles on people’s faces today at the royal manchester hospital!”

Both Rashford and Lingard will be hoping to feature when Manchester United return to Premier League action on Boxing Day with a home clash against Sunderland.

The Red Devils have been in improved form in recent weeks and have won their last three games in a row in the top flight.
