Mesut Ozil met a group of young footballers last week ahead of Arsenal's Premier League trip to West Ham
Mesut Ozil met some young footballers as part of a charity project this week as the Arsenal star prepared for Saturday’s Premier League clash with West Ham United.
Ozil has been one of the Premier League’s top performers since his arrival at Arsenal from Real Madrid in the summer of 2013.
The playmaker made the most number of assists in the Premier League last season as the Gunners ended up in second place in the Premier League table.
Ozil will be expecting to feature for the Gunners when Arsene Wenger’s men return to Premier League action with a trip to West Ham on Saturday night.
And the 28-year-old shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account after a day with the Laureus project.
Ozil posted the photo and wrote the caption:”Smiling faces at #UrbanStars #Laureus project in London. Paid these young footballers a visit and learnt more about their not so easy paths of life 👊🏼
“I hope you guys #stayfocused and keep on chasing your dreams, no matter where you’re coming from!”
Arsenal are aiming to get back to winning ways after their 2-0 loss to Southampton in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup on Wednesday night at The Emirates.
