Mesut Ozil has taken to Instagram to celebrate Arsenal’s 3-1 victory over Stoke City at The Emirates on Saturday afternoon.

The Potters edged into a first-half lead thanks to Charlie Adam’s penalty after Granit Xhaka caught Joe Allen with an elbow inside the penalty area.

However, England forward Theo Walcott levelled before half-time with a close-range finish to cancel out Adam’s spot-kick.

Ozil gave the Gunners a second-half lead after he guided a header over Stoke goalkeeper Lee Grant in the 49th minute.

Nigeria international Alex Iwobi came off the bench to secure three points for the north London side with 15 minutes remaining.

Germany international Ozil posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“Use your head, they said! ⚽😜 | 🔛🔝 for the moment! ↗💪🏽 #ProudOfThisTeam #YaGunnersYa #AFCvSCFC”

Ozil has scored in successive Premier League games after the Germany international netted against West Ham United and Stoke City over the past two weeks.
