Philippe Coutinho looked to be taking his mind off his Liverpool injury setback with a trip to Disney On Ice with his young family on Friday.

The Brazil international is set to be sidelined for the foreseeable future after Coutinho suffered ankle ligament damage during Liverpool’s 2-0 win against Sunderland last weekend.

The former Inter Milan playmaker was replaced in the 33rd minute as Divock Origi and James Milner scored against the Black Cats to seal three points for the hosts.

Coutinho has been Liverpool’s standout player in the 2016-17 season so far after a return of five goals and five assists in 12 Premier League games.

However, Coutinho could be sidelined for up to six weeks following his ankle injury in what is a blow to Liverpool’s title chances.

But the Liverpool number 10 was in good spirits with his wife Aine and daughter at Disney On Ice ahead of Liverpool’s clash against Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.

His wife Aine posted the above photo on her Instagram page and wrote:

“Yesterday was Disney day !! #frozen”
