Thierry Henry posed for a photo with his former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.

The north London side will be hoping to make a swift return to winning ways this weekend after Arsenal lost 2-1 to Everton at Goodison Park on Tuesday night.

Alexis Sanchez broke the deadlock on the blue half of Merseyside before Seamus Coleman and Ashley Williams fired the Toffees to victory.

Manchester City lost 4-2 to defending champions Leicester City at the King Power Stadium last weekend to leave them seven points behind leaders.

However, the Citizens were 2-0 winners against Watford on Wednesday night thanks to goals from Nolito and David Silva at the Etihad Stadium.

Henry moved to Barcelona from Arsenal in 2007 and won two La Liga titles and the Champions League under the former Spanish midfielder.

The Arsenal legend was pleased to meet with his former boss on Friday ahead of the north London side’s trip to The Etihad.

Henry posted the above photo and wrote on his Instagram page:
