Granit Xhaka looked to be in good shape as he and his Arsenal team-mates put in the hard work at the club’s training ground on Thursday morning.

The summer signing trained with his team-mates at London Colney after he bode farewell to his former club Borussia Monchengladbach during the week.

The north London side are looking to bounce back to winning ways in the Premier League after the disappointment of losing back to back games against Everton and Manchester City.

Arsene Wenger’s men head into their clash against West Bromwich Albion at The Emirates on Boxing Day nine points behind leaders Chelsea in the table.

Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil both also took part in Thursday morning’s training session in the sunshine at London Colney as Wenger’s men were put through their paces.

Arsenal finished in second place in the Premier League table and 10 points behind champions Leicester City.
