Photos: Liverpool signing joins Adam Lallana and Roberto Firmino in training ahead of Bournemouth clash

England midfielder Adam Lallana makes a return to first-team training ahead of Liverpool's trip to Bournemouth

Adam Lallana handed Liverpool a much-needed fitness boost as the midfielder returned to first-team training ahead of Sunday’s clash against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

The England midfielder has been sidelined since picking up an injury on international duty during the Three Lions’ 2-2 draw with Spain at Wembley last month.

Liverpool suffered a blow last weekend after Philippe Coutinho suffered ankle ligament damage during their 2-0 victory over Sunderland at Anfield in the Premier League.

Lallana’s comeback will give Jurgen Klopp another option in midfield as Georginio Wijnaldum looks to continue in the starting line-up alongside Roberto Firmino.

Jordan Henderson and Emre Can have also impressed in the heart of Klopp’s Liverpool midfield in recent weeks.

And Klopp put his Liverpool squad through their paces as the Reds look to secure successive Premier League victories on the south coast this weekend.

Here is a selection of the best photos from Liverpool’s training session at Melwood on Friday.
