Liverpool have made their annual Christmas visit to Alder Hey Children's Hospital

Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho were both joined by Joel Matip and Georginio Wijnaldum as Liverpool made their annual Christmas visit to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital to bring festive cheer to the young patients.

After training on Friday morning, the Reds made their way to the hospital, which treats 270,000 children each year, for their special yearly visit.

Manager Jurgen Klopp, captain Jordan Henderson and the rest of the senior players spent the afternoon on the wards meeting as many young patients as possible.

The squad chatted to the youngsters and their families, posed for photos and signed autographs as well as handing out LFC Christmas gifts to the children.
