Photos: Liverpool signing joins Henderson and Wijnaldum in training ahead of Bournemouth clash

Jurgen Klopp puts his Liverpool squad through their paces ahead of Sunday's trip to Bournemouth in the Premier League

Loris Karius joined Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum trained under Jurgen Klopp’s watchful eye ahead of Liverpool’s trip to Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds manager made wholesale changes as Divock Origi and Ben Woodburn scored second-half goals to seal a 2-0 win against Leeds United and book Liverpool’s place in the EFL Cup semi-finals.

The Merseyside outfit will face Premier League rivals Southampton at St Mary’s on 10 January for a place in the Wembley final.

Liverpool will take on another south coast club on Sunday when Klopp’s side make the long trip to Bournemouth this weekend.

Midfielders Henderson, James Milner and Wijnaldum all trained at Melwood on Wednesday afternoon less than 24 hours after their League Cup clash.

Summer signing Karius was put through his paces after Simon Mignolet started Tuesday night’s EFL Cup clash.
