Piers Morgan has his say after Arsenal's clash with Everton at Goodison Park in the Premier League

Piers Morgan took to social media to criticise Arsenal’s poor defending after Tuesday night’s 2-1 defeat at Everton in the Premier League.

Arsenal headed into the game looking to secure another three points ahead of their crunch clash with Manchester City on Sunday.

The north London side took the lead in the first half at Goodison Park when Alexis Sanchez’s free kick was deflected in off Everton defender Ashley Williams in the 20th minute.

However, the home side were level before half time when Seamus Coleman headed home an equaliser in the 44th minute on Merseyside.

Celebrity Arsenal fan Morgan first took to social media after Sanchez gave the Gunners the lead:

But it wasn’t long before the former Daily Mirror editor reacted to Everton’s equaliser on social media:

And Ashley Williams then nodded Everton into the lead in the 86th minute to wrap up the three points for the hosts and send Arsenal crashing to their first defeat since August in the Premier League.

Arsenal now turn their attentions towards their Premier League showdown against Manchester City at The Etihad on Sunday afternoon in what will be their final fixture before Christmas.
