Pundit replies when asked if who is better between Tottenham and Man United strikers

Danny Higginbotham delivers his verdict on Manchester United and Tottenham strikers Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Harry Kane

Danny Higginbotham believes that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has proved himself to be more vital to the Manchester United team than Harry Kane to Tottenham this season.

The Swedish striker is currently getting used to life at Old Trafford following his transfer to the club from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.

Ibrahimovic has been a regular fixture in the Red Devils team so far this term and has already scored 13 goals for Jose Mourinho’s men this season.

The veteran forward appears to be adapting well to the rigours of English football and has proved himself to be a vital asset to Manchester United this season.

And Higginbotham feels that Ibrahimovic has proved himself to be a key player for the Red Devils so far this season.

Asked to pick between Kane and Ibrahimovic, Higginbotham told Sky Sports News HQ on Friday morning: “That’s a tough one, you’ve put me on the spot here!

“When you look at what they mean to the team I think you’ve got to say Ibrahimovic at the moment.

“His hold-up play is fantastic and he brings other players into play. He is putting the chances away.

“Ibrahimovic is more vital to Manchester United [than Kane] because of the lack of goals from elsewhere in the team.”
