Robbie Savage delivers his verdict on how Arsenal have started the Premier League campaign

Robbie Savage believes that Arsenal have more strength in depth this season compared to recent campaigns.

Arsene Wenger’s men continued their unbeaten run in the Premier League on Saturday as they came from a goal down to beat Stoke City at The Emirates.

Arsenal are now unbeaten in the Premier League since their opening weekend defeat at the hands of Liverpool in north London.

Wenger’s side are currently second in the table and three points behind leaders Chelsea after 14 games of the new campaign.

And Savage believes that the Arsenal squad is looking considerably stronger than it has done in previous seasons.

Speaking to BT Sport on Saturday, former midfielder Savage said: “I think they’ve got strength in depth. A few substitutes have come on and scored.

“They’ve got better strength in depth this season.”

Arsenal return to Premier League action on Tuesday night when they travel to Goodison Park to face Everton.
