Thierry Henry offers advice to Arsene Wenger: Build team around Arsenal duo

The Arsenal legend wants Arsene Wenger to sign players to complement Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez

Thierry Henry has urged Arsene Wenger to build his team around Arsenal super stars Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

The north London club are thought to be in negotiations with Ozil and Sanchez over new contracts as the Gunners look to stay on course in the Premier League title race.

Unsurprisingly, Ozil and Sanchez have once again proven key figures in Arsenal’s Premier League season after an impressive start to the 2016-17 season under Wenger so far.

The Gunners signed five players in the summer transfer window as Wenger looked to improve on their second-place finish in the Premier League title race last term, finishing 10 points behind Leicester City.

Chelsea look like being Arsenal’s biggest title rivals in the Premier League this season as Wenger looks to guide the Gunners to their first top-flight crown since 2003-04.

Former Arsenal striker Henry wants to see Wenger build his team around Ozil and Sanchez to ensure lasting success at the Emirates Stadium.

“You want to build the team around those guys. Ozil has been there for a little while. Sanchez arrived after. When you have guys like that in your team, you have more of a chance to win it,” Henry told Sky Sports News HQ.
