Ian Wright states his prediction for Tottenham v Swansea

Ian Wright looks ahead to Tottenham's clash with Swansea City in the Premier League on Saturday

Ian Wright is backing Tottenham Hotspur to get back to winning ways in the Premier League by beating Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.

The Lilywhites head into the game at White Hart Lane looking to get back on track after the disappointment of their 2-1 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend.

The north London side took the lead through Christian Eriksen’s goal at Stamford Bridge but were pegged back and eventually beaten as Victor Moses and Pedro both found the net.

It was Tottenham’s first defeat of the season in the Premier League and it left Mauricio Pochettino’s men fifth in the table and seven points behind leaders Chelsea after 13 games.

However, Arsenal legend Ian Wright is tipping the Lilywhites to get back to winning ways when they host Swansea at White Hart Lane this weekend.

Speaking to The Sun’s Goals podcast, Wright said: “I’m going for Spurs. Swansea’s game could have gone either way against Palace. Tottenham need to get themselves going.”
