Michael Owen states his prediction for West Ham v Arsenal
Michael Owen looks ahead to Arsenal's trip to West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday night
Michael Owen is tipping Arsenal to make it back to back wins in the Premier League when the Gunners travel to West Ham United on Saturday night.
The north London side claimed a 3-1 win over Bournemouth at The Emirates at the weekend as they got back to winning ways following 1-1 draws against both Tottenham and Manchester United.
That result left Arsenal in fourth place and three points behind leaders Chelsea after 13 games of the new season.
Arsenal were dumped out of the League Cup on Wednesday night when they were beaten 2-0 by Southampton in the quarter-finals.
However, Owen is tipping the Gunners to have too much for the Hammers at the London Stadium on Saturday night, and is backing Arsenal to win the game.
Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “The Hammers have conceded two or more in their last seven home Premier League games against the Gunners although they themselves have scored seven times against Arsenal in the last two Premier League games between the sides.
“A game that promises goals and it should be a cracking London derby.”
A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Arsenal to win and both teams to score.”
Arsenal finished in second place and without a trophy under Arsene Wenger last season.
