Paul Ince states prediction for West Ham v Arsenal
The Manchester United legend is tipping Alexis Sanchez to continue his goal-scoring run
Paul Ince is backing Alexis Sanchez to help Arsenal ease to victory over West Ham United in Saturday evening’s London derby.
The Gunners will be looking to record back-to-back Premier League victories after Arsene Wenger’s side were 3-1 winners against Bourmemouth at the Emirates Stadium last weekend.
Sanchez scored either side of half-time to help the north London side ease to three points after successive 1-1 stalemates with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United ahead of the visit of the Cherries.
The Chile international has scored eight times in 13 Premier League appearances this term so far after Wenger opted to move the former Barcelona man into a more orthodox centre-forward role this season.
Former Liverpool and Manchester United midfielder Ince is confident that Sanchez can fire Arsenal to three points against Slaven Bilic’s struggling West Ham side at the London Stadium.
“The way West Ham have played against United this week and on Sunday makes me think this will be very open, and easy for Arsenal to get a few chances,” Ince told Paddy Power.
“United made it look easy in the EFL Cup so it should be straight-forward for Sanchez to find some space and for The Gunners to win.”
Arsenal are in fourth place in the Premier League table and three points adrift of leaders Chelsea after 13 games.
The Gunners are unbeaten in 12 Premier League fixtures.
